FIELD: coke-and-chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has coke quenching car 1 to be filled with an incandescent coke. The car is positioned on the rails. A lift shaft is disposed over the car. The unit also has lift 4, quenching chambers 5 aligned on the axis normal to the rails, recovery boiler 6 and reserve lift 7. Quenching chambers are disposed on both sides of the rails. This fact allows to reduce a running time of the car body from the lifting shaft to the charge mechanism. EFFECT: increased productivity. 1 dwg
