FIELD: production of fuel. SUBSTANCE: process is conducted by catalytic reforming of straight-run petrol fractions at final boiling point up to 185 C in presence of platinum-containing catalyst. Pull-boiling point of starting raw material is continuously reduced by 10-30 C. In production of reformed petrol at octane number of 95 points, for example, temperature at reforming reactor inlet is changed from 485 C at beginning of cycle to 500 C at the end of cycle. Such conditions provide for output of 84.5% and duration of inter-regeneration cycle of 15 months against 83.5% and 11 months, respectively. EFFECT: improved quality of target product and increased duration of inter-regeneration cycle. 1 tbl
