FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing high-octane gasoline and aromatic hydrocarbons by gasoline fractions reforming on aluminium-platinum-rhenium catalysts. Cataclysmal reforming involves stage of selective deactivation of catalyst. Deactivation is carried out by carrying out reforming for 1-10 days at temperature at inlet to the first or the first and second reactors by 20-60 C above than in other reactors. Then temperature difference at reactors inlet must be 20 C less but to be sufficient to obtain reforming product at the required octane number or the yield of aromatic hydrocarbons. The yield of reforming liquid product is increased by 0.9-3.5 wt.-%. EFFECT: increased yield of product, improved method of reforming. 2 tbl
