FIELD: mineral resources beneficiation. SUBSTANCE: classifier has located in inclined trough 1 transporting spiral 2 and situated at opposite butts of trough tools for classification products unloading. Plates 4 - 6 are located in lower part of trough 1 near classifier discharge outlet at obtuse angle to spiral 2 facing sands unloading tool. Plates are hinged by connection rods 7 making block to adjust angle of inclination and space between them. Initial pulp, entering classifier trough lower part, begins to form in strata. Big particles mainly are moving down and slim part of pulp spreads in direction to classifier side walls through inclined plates block 3 and there streams 4 - 6 damping and biggest particles settling due to decrease of settling height take place. Settled in settling plates 4 - 6 particles slip down and settle on bottom of trough 1 and then are spirally transported along inclined trough 1 upward for dehydration and unloading.
