FIELD: mining; applicable in formation of slim curved holes. SUBSTANCE: front section 1 and rear section 2 are interconnected by means of controlled deflecting tool with three cardan joints 6. Output links of cardan joints 6 are made in form of rods 11 with shoes 16. The latter are accommodated in circular recess 15 of front section 1. Electromagnet 17 is located in front section 1 to be engaged with shoe 16 and serves as interlocking mechanism of rods 11. Cams 18 are arranged on side surface of recess 15. During axial motion of working member, rods 11 are locked by electromagnet and shoes 16 are additionally wedged with cams 18. This improves reliability of interlocking. When reverse motion is required, electromagnet 17 is engaged and shoes 16 are disconnected from cams 18 due to traction force. EFFECT: higher efficiency of formation of slim holes due to increased reliability of rod interlocking. 3 dwg
