FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: helicopter consists of fuselage and tail unit with control surfaces. Fan 5 is located in passage 4. Hollow tail boom is separated from central portion of fuselage by tight partition. Arranged between baffles 7 are vertical controllable shutters 8 of controllable nozzle which have varying curvature with no break in continuity of their surface. At least one longitudinal profiled slot is located in lower portion of hollow tail boom. Mounted in passage 4 coaxially and oppositely to fan 5 is fan 11. Shaft of reduction gear drive of fans 5 and 11 runs inside tail boom of fuselage. Housing of reduction gear of fans 5 and 11 is enclosed in cowls. Chambers behind fans 5 and 11 and cowls are brought in communication with passage of hollow tail boom and air duct provided with controllable nozzle. Shutters 8 of controllable nozzle form outlet passage of varying section. Arranged in passage of hollow tail boom are two control shutters which shut off supply of air to chamber of fuselage hollow tail boom. Area of section of passage 20 is minimum when propulsive force is created. During autorotation, nozzle passage is oriented to opposite side as compared with counteracting mode of torque reaction of main rotor. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of helicopter directional control. 5 dwg
