FIELD: thermonuclear power production, in particular, thermonuclear power reactors with magnetic holding systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves extrusion of solid fuel using power gas-phase fuel which is pressed by pressure which is greater than 10 MPa. Gas, which works by squeezing portion of solid fuel out, simultaneously release part of extrusion chamber space and is condensed in it so that consumed fuel is filled up again. Since solid fuel is simultaneously squeezed out, process of extrusion is continuous. EFFECT: increased efficiency due to increased rate of used fuel and continuous operations. 1 dwg
