FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: line for treating a leather semifinished product includes in addition an apparatus for obtaining emulsion, arranged near a suspended reinforced drum. The apparatus for obtaining emulsion includes vessels, being heated up, and agitating units for hydrophobic and hydrophilic phases. The vessels, provided by batchers, connected with an emulsifying unit, being a tank, having a heating up device and an agitator, are provided by a pump for intensive motion of materials to be mixed. A pipeline, connecting the emulsifying unit with the batcher for hydrophilic phase, includes a throttle for controlling feed rate of the phase into the emulsifying unit. In order to perform processes of tanning and fat liquoring, the suspended reinforced drum with hammers, provided by a device for uniform distribution of emulsion inside of the drum, are being used. EFFECT: intensified processes of tanning and fat liquoring, lowered water consumption, decreased contamination degree of sewage water, being in smaller quantity, economy of chemical materials. 3 cl, 3 dwg
