FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: heated granules enter the groove formed by circular recesses of wheels 1 and shoes 2. Rotating wheels catch the granules by walls of circular recesses and move them along wheel rotation, simultaneously compacting and welding the mass of granules. As granules move through the groove to common line coinciding with the axes of two rolls, the groove closes so that there is no contact of granules with shoes. As wheels continue rotating towards stop 4, granules are extruded into expansion chamber 5 and thence, through a die, into the product.
