ALKALINE CELL Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract SU 1695795 A1

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to manufacture of chemical sources of electric energy. Alkaline has shell, negative zinc electrode and positive electrode separated by separator and put into electrolyte and additional volume 1 separated from electrode section by partition with hole 4 which diameter is made in compliance with calculation of 4-6 mm per each 5.0 g of mass of zinc electrode. Additional volume is provided with auxiliary nickel electrode. Such design of cell makes it possible to slow down ageing process of zinc electrolyte and to ensure stable cycling. EFFECT: prolonged service life of alkaline cells. 1 dwg
