FIELD: packing practice. SUBSTANCE: method involves making transport packages of piece products of unstable shape by creating a stack directly in polymeric film bag 29 which is open at the top and stretched by pins 28. Bottom of bag 29 is placed on conveyor 30. Then a pallet is placed on stack from above, pins 28 are lifted out of bag 29 and the produced package is turned through 180 deg. Piece products 32 may be placed into bag by their side surfaces. In the device for packing on frame 12 the levers with pins 28 and their drives are assembled so that the central part has an opening for passage of products. Frame 12 is secured on carriage 3 with a provision for moving in a vertical plane. EFFECT: higher quality of packing piece products of unstable shape. 4 cl, 5 dwg
