FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: primary hydrocarbon fuel is introduced in thermochemical converter in flow of combustion products used in MHD in amount affording excess synthesis gas as compared to that used in MHD-generator. This excess synthesis gas is passed to gas-turbine plant. Heat of exhaust gases of gas-turbine plant is used in steam generator to heat up one of two steam flows of steam-turbine plant to same temperature as that to which second steam flow is heated until these flows are mixed in steam generator. Additive reconditioning system functions to wash additive out of slag extracted in filter and then slag is returned to flow of combustion products in additive volatilizing unit between MHD-channel and thermochemical converter, heated to temperature over 2200 K and finally slag is extracted from cycle. Oxygen is used as oxidizer in combustion chamber of MHD-generator. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
