FIELD: machine tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: device comprises holder 1 with flange 2 whose base flange 3 is intended to match with end face 4 on spindle 5. Secured on cylindrical projection 7 or in spindle recess is membrane 8 with external conical surface 9. Membrane 8 may be made integral with spindle. When holder is drawn into spindle by its head 6, holder is aligned by matching the membrane surface 9 with internal conical surface 10 in flange 2 of holder 1. Elastic deformation of membrane 8 ensures taking up the clearance S between end faces 3 and 4 of holder and spindle, respectively, and fastening the holder on the spindle.
