SUBSTANCE: method involves machining parts 1 by tool 2, whose cutting members 3 are imparted motion with speed V along curved guide 4; obtaining basic tool surface by moving flat curved generatrix of cutting members along curved guide 4, which is disposed in tool plane; providing contact between tool surface and surface subjected to machining along line 13, which coincides with direction of main motion of cutting members, by providing relative motion between tool 2 and part 1 through relative spatial progressive motion along three mutually perpendicular paths and relative rotational motions 10, 11, 12 around these paths.
