FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: conical crusher has a crushing chamber formed by the working surfaces of stationary bowl 2 and of movable inner cone 3 with an eccentric drive. During the crusher operation the drive gives cone 3 the gyration motion resulting in the destruction of the material coming to the crusher because it is clamped between the working surfaces of cone 3 and bowl 2. As the sizes of the dense slots Bi between the bowl and the cone on the boundary lines of the steps of the reprocessed material inside the crushing chamber are chosen according to the relationship excluding the pressing and the compulsory destruction of pieces along the whole cross-section, the properties of the material crushability will be efficiently realized. The crushing chamber will be less sensitive to the inaccuracy of manufacturing parts and assemblies forming the crushing chamber and to the nonuniform depreciation of jackets of the crushing space along its perimeter. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of crushing. 3 dwg
