FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: laser travelling wave amplifier has dish filled with working medium and multiway optical system. Optical system incorporates two concave (main and auxiliary) collecting mirrors and four concave mirrors-objectives. All mirrors have identical curvature radius as well as inlet and outlet holes. Additional collecting mirror borders on main collecting mirror and all collecting mirrors, inlet and outlet holes are located by one side of dish and all four mirrors objectives by the other side. First three mirrors-objectives are positioned on one side of plane passing through curvature center of main collecting mirror and fourth mirror-objective is placed on the other side of this plane. In this case curvature centers of auxiliary and additional collecting mirrors are located in symmetry centers of adjacent reflections of first, second and third mirrors-objectives on the fourth mirror objective with reference to curvature center of main collecting mirror.
