FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has the punch 7, whose upper end rests upon an upper stationary plate of a press at applying compression pressure, for example, from downwards, to the apparatus. Then the punch 8 and the lower die 4 begin to move relative to the punch 7 until an end surface of the punch 8 rests upon the upper plate of the press. After that motion the pressure is being released and the sectors 11 are being removed. Upon repeated applying the compression pressure the ends of the punches 7,8 rest upon the upper plate of the press, causing motion of the additional punch 6 until a lower end surface of the casing 1 rests upon a lower plate of the press. The pressure being increased, an axial effort, being occurred, becomes more, than a friction force between the adaptor 2 and the hollow punch 3, causing motion of the casing 1 with the adaptor 2 and with the slit elastic ring 9 relative to the hollow punch 3. Upon that motion a play between the lower end of the hollow punch 3 and an inner end of the casing is being taken off, that causes unloading of tie rods 5. Then the tie rods 5 are being removed out of the casing 1 and the lower die 4. EFFECT: enhanced quality of articles, being pressed. 2 cl, 2 dwg
