FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: increased accuracy of machining and wider technological potentialities are achieved due to more rational displacement of carriages. Device has carriage displacement mechanism made in the form of bush installed for possible rotation on rotor shaft and replaceable cam mounted on bush. Cam is rigidly connected with rotor base plate by means of gearing introduced in device. Mechanism for displacement of spindle heads is made in the form of replaceable tracer of poppet sleeves and pushers. At rotation of tool drum, carriages interact with cam to acquire radial movement in addition to rotation. Machining of articles is effected at combination of three motions: rotation of spindle head, longitudinal displacement of spindle head, and radial movement of carriage.
