FIELD: investigation of soils. SUBSTANCE: anchor for probing operations includes worm-gear speed reducer 1 with drive 2 and hollow anchor 3. Rod 8 with ducts 9, 10 and piston 11 is anchored uniaxially to anchor 3 in case of worm-gear speed reducer 1. Cavity of anchor 3 is made air-tight and anchor 3, rod 8 and piston 11 form double-acting hydraulic cylinder. Ducts 9, 10 are coupled through hydraulic distributor 17 to hydroelectric station 20. Drive 2 of worm-gear speed reducer 1 is switched on at probing point. Rotation is transmitted to anchor 3, hydraulic distributor 17 connects pressure line 18 to piston cavity 13 of hydraulic cylinder and rod cavity to discharge line 19. This ensures downward translation of anchor 3 with reference to worm-gear 6 of reducer 1, anchor 3 screws into soil. When withdrawing anchor 3 from soil drive 2 is switched on in reverse direction, hydraulic distributor 17 connects pressure line 18 to rod cavity 12 and piston cavity 13 to discharge line 19. EFFECT: improved operational efficiency and reliability. 1 dwg
