FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has n sensors mounted inside reactor whose outputs are connected to respective inputs of averaging unit whose output is connected to input of differentiating amplifier and to input of inverter whose output is connected to second input of threshold unit whose output signal is passed to emergency shutdown circuit. Averaging unit has voltage amplifier and n similar circuits each incorporating series-connected normalizing amplifier, switch, and resistor. Outputs of all circuits are connected to input of voltage amplifier. Inverter has two series-connected resistors and voltage amplifier with feedback element connected between its input and output. Reference-voltage source is connected to common point of resistors through diode. Output of first resistor functions as inverter output and amplifier output, as inverter output. Threshold unit has comparator, voltage divider built around first and second resistors, and series-connected resistor and switch which are connected in parallel with second resistor. First input of comparator functions as first input of threshold unit and comparator output is connected to control input of switch and functions as threshold unit output. Second input of comparator is connected to common point of first and second resistors and voltage divider input functions as threshold unit input.
