FIELD: instrument industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises measuring the angle between the sensitivity axis and base plane of the photoelectric differential angle pickup before and after the action of destabilizing factors. The accelerometer is set so that its base plane is horizontal. The accelerometer is then rotated around the suspension to the position at which the signals from the pair of photodetectors is equal to zero. The photodetectors are arranged at one arm of the modulator. The angle of rotation is measured. The accelerometer is then rotated again around the axis of the suspension of the bottom part to the position at which the signal from the second pair of the photodetectors arranged at the other arm of the modulator is equal to zero. The angle of rotation is measured. The extent of the repeatability of the angles indicates the reason of the instability of the position of the sensitivity axis.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
