FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reduction magnetic mechanisms and it can be used in instrumentation engineering, aircraft, spacecraft and other industries. Proposed magnetic drive contains drive and driven members installed in housing and cover on antifriction bearings, modulator, permanent magnet and toothed magnetic circuits one of which is mounted on driven member (see Claim) and the other I secured on housing. Novelty is that housing is made of nonmagnetic material, and magnetic circuits are made motionless Magnetically-soft teeth of magnetic circuits are separated by non-magnetic material. Holder made of nonmagnetic material with fitted-in permanent magnet is secured in side material. One side of permanent magnet adjoins through air to one of magnetic circuits, and the other, to modulator made of magnetically-soft material with lobes. Modulator is installed under teeth and is secured on drive member. Invention provides reduction of friction losses in bearings, losses in passing of magnetic flux, simplification of transmission of mechanical energy by magnetic field into sealed volume, increased torque without changing moment of inertia on input member.
EFFECT: reduced mass-and-dimension characteristics, increased load-carrying capacity.
