FIELD: instrument industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises orienting the gyroscope, cooling its rotor and members of the magnetic suspension up to the superconducting state, suspending the rotor of gyroscope and setting it in rotation, changing the direction of the magnetic field of the suspension, setting one of the axes of the suspension vertically, measuring the rate of deviations for two mutually opposite directions of the magnetic flux in the bottom coil of the magnetic suspension, setting the direction of the magnetic field in the top and bottom coils of this suspension axis corresponding to the minimum deviation measured, and changing the speed of rotation of the rotor to provide minimum deviation for this orientation of the device.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
