FIELD: radio engineering, possible use in radio transmitters and amplifiers with remote control.
SUBSTANCE: device for protecting transmitters from impulse overvoltages, occurring as a result of effect from electromagnetic impulse of nuclear explosion in antennas and cable lines, additionally contains a transformer, primary winding of which is serially connected to diode and capacitor, and is connected in parallel with bridging device on the side of antenna-feeder section. Also, capacitor through a diode is connected to opposite side of delay line, diodes are connected oppositely to one another, and a charger, positioned on the side of transmitter, is connected to both delay line, and to primary winding of transformer through diodes, connected oppositely to one another.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection, expanded functional capabilities of device.
