FIELD: radio and instrumentation engineering as well as astronomy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be used, in particular, for automatic control including control of phased antenna arrays (PAA) and that has first and second electronic channels of electronic target tracking system (ETTS), mechanical channel of direction control system (DCS), operator control console, clock generator, and ETTS channel switches is provided in addition with two PAA normal guidance units and target analyzer which makes it possible to maintain PAA normal between target bearings so that traces of these bearings (1, H, 2) on plane perpendicular to them are disposed on same straight line with respect to 1H/2H = λ, where 0 < λ < 1. In order to ensure operation in maneuvering targets provision is made for varying target priority and for transfer to track one (priority) target when other (non-priority) target is beyond scanning sector Dmax.

EFFECT: enlarged range of maneuvering target tracking angles.
