FIELD: radar engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has main and compensating antennas, adder, signal processing unit, and modulator. Proposed method involves additional phase modulation of compensating signal prior to adding the latter to main signal within the range of 0 to 360 deg. obeying periodic law with period not exceeding noise pulse length; upon addition total signal is filtered, detected, and compared with threshold value.
EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity of radar station with respect to pulse noise active at side lobes of antenna directivity pattern.
