FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: sample for testing strength of supported panel consists of two parallel non-shear three-run panels with one middle panel, connected by two pairs of ribs, a pair of edge ribs and pair of intermediate ribs, and two beam walls, connected to ribs. On ends of one three-run panel, containing middle panel, supporting assemblies are made. A pair of edge ribs is shorter than a pair of intermediate ones. Supporting assembly is made in form of knife joint, consisting of external casing with groove for wedge, into which wedge-shaped projection of internal casing, immovably pinned onto panel, is inserted. External casing is fastened to edge rib. Edge of knife joint coincides with intersection line of plane, passing in parallel to cover through line of gravity centers of transverse sections of panel, with middle plane of edge rib.
EFFECT: increased precision of reproduction of loading conditions.
