FIELD: special equipment engineering, possible use for finding and recognizing concealed objects on basis of thermal emission under field conditions both during daytime and nighttime.
SUBSTANCE: device contains objective, modulator, sweep generator, and, connected serially to signaling plate, pre-amplifier, video-amplifier and frame processor. Modulator is made with possible rotation and is located between objective and pyrocon, placed in focusing-deflecting system. Input of sweep generator is connected to synchronization system, and output to focusing-deflecting system. Also, flat mirror, mounted in front of objective at and angle to its optical axis, is introduced to device. Mirror is made with possible rotation relatively to axis, synchronized with frame sweep. Axis forms an angle with mirror plane, determined from formula α=π/2-1/2 arctg nδ/f', where n - width of line, singling out the contour, adapted to pyrocon target and expressed in television rows, δ - width of television row in pyrocon raster, f' - focus distance of objective.
EFFECT: increased probability of detection and recognition of objects under field conditions by singling out their contours.
