FIELD: radar engineering; systems requiring high resolving power with respect to range.

SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in radar are first switching unit, series-connected ratio-of-two frequency divider, second switching unit and second phase-modulated signal phase shifter, heterodyne connected to mixer input, series-connected third switching unit, second matched filter, fourth switching unit, second and third delay lines, two voltage dividers, and second adder; second input of second switching unit and input of ratio-of-two frequency divider are integrated and connected to clocking input of radar whose second output is connected through first phase-modulated signal shifter to input of first switching unit whose second and third inputs are connected, respectively, to outputs of ratio-of-two frequency divider and second phase-modulated signal shaper; output of first switching unit is connected to input of transmitter; output of antenna switch is connected through second input of mixer to input of automatic gain control unit whose output is connected to input of third switching unit; second output of the latter is connected through first matched filter to input of fourth switching unit; output of ratio-of-two frequency divider is also connected to second inputs of third and fourth switching units; output of the latter is connected to second input of first adder whose output, as well as that of third delay line, are connected through first and second dividers, respectively, to inputs of second adder whose third input is connected to output of delay line; adder output is connected to input of moving-target selecting unit.

EFFECT: enhanced resolving power of radar.
