SUBSTANCE: the topographic photo camera has a lens, shutter, contact frame with a gate aperture and a cassette with a film-pulling mechanism. Besides, a transparent screen is installed in the center of the gate aperture, its length is determined by dependence; bx-Lx-2L(1-K(1-Px/100)), where bx - the length of the transparent screen (mm), Lx - the length of the aperture (mm), k- photography ratio, Px - fore-and-aft photo overlap, per cent.
EFFECT: enhanced information capacity at flight line photography with a fore-and-aft overlap exceeding 75 per cent.
