FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: high-temperature prechamber relates to the field of experimental aerodynamics and can be used in dual-chamber aerodynamic adiabatic compression unit. The prechamber consists of the housing, jointed with the throttling device, it has perforated screen and stabilizer. Meanwhile the stabilizer is designed with a possibility of moving along the prechamber centreline and provides process of decomposition, regulation, and also isolation of high-temperature zone. The working substance is the gas like N2O+N2.
EFFECT: forming of homogeneous high-temperature flow of mix of gases simulating the air with simultaneous increase of temperature of the mix by 1500-2000°K and increase of duration of experiment 10-100 times.
