FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: unit relates to the field of experimental aerodynamics. The unit consists of a cylinder with gas, connected with a trunk cylinder. The trunk has a moving piston. The unit also contains the throttling device, high and low pressure prechambers, working section, diffusor and ejector. The distinctive feature of the design is that the low pressure prechamber is connected to the Eifel chamber which comprises two hollows, one of which is connected to the supply system, and second one is connected to the internal hollow of an ejector through the profiled header. At the end of the header the device for Reynolds number adjustment is installed.
EFFECT: possibility of flow simulation near the free turbulent flow and possibility of regulation of Reynolds number of the flow.
