FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: portable device for measuring resistance of patient's skin portions for plurality of biologically active points and processing measurement results for detecting asymmetry of biologically active points in central nervous system, storing measurement results and recording them read-only storage for statically and analytically processing of measurement data is characterized by the use of a control unit including clock generator clocking microprocessor and all the ports of the portable device through frequency divider connected in parallel to it through address, data and control buses by drivers for transmitting address, data and control signals to external bus, read-only storage comprising system and application programs, serial port for connecting to cassette-type magnetic tape store, parallel port for connecting to key-board, control unit on-line storage, on-line storage for display in which together with microprocessor a display control circuit operates and which is connected to the display, decoder for performing selection of the all said devices of the control unit, parallel connected through external address, data and control buses to the control unit memory unit including memory microcircuit selectable by the decoder and having a circuit for battery preservation of information at switching off mains power supply, and measuring unit including a two-port on-line storage into which information from analogue-digital converter is cyclically written and information measured by analogue-digital converter through serially connected measuring sensors, switching unit, optronic converters and matching amplifiers is read by the control unit.
