FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: autogyro has fuselage in the form of pipe 1, central vertical strut 2 also in the form of pipe with the same cross-sectional area as that of pipe 1. Central gusset 3 is rigidly fixed to strut 2, fuselage pipe 1 and pilot's seat 4. The autogyro has tricycle landing gear with nose landing gear unit 5. Autogyro powerplant has engine 8 and pusher propeller 9. Tail unit is normal, with horizontal and vertical stabilizers. Additional strut 17 is hinged at its one end with strut 3 and at its opposite end is hinged to rotor suspension unit 18. Main and additional struts 19 and 21 are of variable length. Propeller 16 is mounted in unit 18 on the axle oriented along the autogyro centerline for deflection relative to it. Control linkage 22 engages bearing system with propeller 16 and control stick 15 and allows roll control of propeller 16 from control stick 15. The autogyro can be folded in parking configuration by certain folding and fixation of blades 23 and 24 of propeller 16 and its center-of-gravity position can be regulated by varying lengths of main and additional struts 19 and 21. EFFECT: higher operating reliability, simpler control, higher safety of flights, lower vibrational loads on control organs transmitted from windmilling rotor, smaller takeoff distance. 3 cl, 5 dwg
