FIELD: hydrodynamic investigations. SUBSTANCE: this method is based on measurement of current signals from two ends of cathode and on finding of value of hydrodynamic parameter at point from linear law of its distribution which coefficients are determined by proper formulas. Accuracy of determination increases thanks to determination of law of spatial distribution of hydrodynamic parameters over length of cathode which is assumed to be linear because of relative infinitesimal of dimensions of cathode. Device for realization of method has cathode, anode, two current-to-voltage converters, computer and register. EFFECT: increased accuracy of method. 2 cl, 1 dwg
