FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: converter has two conversion channels, first one being built up of series-connected high-frequency main inverter 1 built around double-ended switching components, power transformer 2, rectifier 3, and double-section LC ripple filter. Other conversion channel has bridge inverter 7 built around switching components, transformer 8 whose primary winding is connected to output of inverter 7 and secondary winding is inserted in series with primary winding circuit of transformer 2, and also double-ended switching component 9 connected between primary winding tap of transformer 8 and common point of respective pair of switching components of inverter 7. EFFECT: improved mass, size, and dynamic characteristics due to reduced reactances of ripple filter and amplitude of low-frequency harmonic components of rectified voltage spectrum. 2 dwg
