FIELD: purification of waste water. SUBSTANCE: settler has reservoir separated by partition into intake and settling chambers, vertical tube-shaped device for withdrawal of floating substances, tangential intake branch pipe and circular tray for withdrawal of purified water. Top threaded end of tube carries float. Tube has guide in the form of vertical rod. Settling chamber houses radial tubes with intake holes, their one end is plugged and another one is bent in the direction of rotation of water flow in intake chamber. Twisted water flow forms funnel in central part of intake chamber where thickness of floating substances is maximum and the substances are drained to tube.
