FIELD: purification of natural and waste water. SUBSTANCE: settler has reservoir 1, cylindrical hollow partition 2 separating reservoir into intake and selling chambers 3 and 4, spiral guide 5, receiving hopper 6, tangential intake branch pipe 7 and circular tray 8 for withdrawal of purified water. Partition 2 has openings 10 for feeding fluid into intake chamber 3. Hopper 6 have beaded slit to receive floating substances. Outer wall of partition 2 has hole for flowing floating substances to hopper 6. Intake chamber 3 is provided with drainage pipe. In rising rotating flow in chamber 11 floating substances come to the surface and form layer which through opening flows to hopper 6. Partly purified water through openings 10 flows to chamber 3 where its further separation takes place. EFFECT: enhanced purifying capability. 4 dwg
