FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: track maintainer is aimed at excavation of ballast bed of railway track for cleaning or replacement. Track maintainer has frame 1 mounted on running trucks 2 and working elements presenting shovel rotors 15. Girders 6 are attached to sides of frame. One of their supports 7 is hinged to frame and other is linked to frame with the use of tie 10 of changeable length. Pins carrying frames 14 of rotors 15 are installed on girder 6 between its supports. Carrying frames 14 are connected to girder 6 by means of turning cylinders 17. Such design makes it possible to increase rigidity of suspension of rotors with simultaneous simplification of structure and to provide for effective haulage of cut ballast.
