FIELD: railway transport; repair of permanent way. SUBSTANCE: ballast cleaning machine has frame mounted on running bogies, ballast cutting out devices in form of rotors mounted on trusses for turning on vertical and horizontal axles by means of power cylinders, cleaning device and system of conveyors, all mounted on machine frame. System of conveyors is made in form of cross conveyor installed for tilting in vertical plane and arranged inside rotor, cut out ballast feed conveyors arranged in direction opposite relative to trusses and installed for vertical and horizontal angular displacement, clean ballast feed conveyor arranged between cut out ballast feed conveyors in direction of straight-ahead movement of machine, contaminants conveyor and turnable conveyor.
