FIELD: clearing of water surface from oil products. SUBSTANCE: gear is built with preset buoyancy. Its body forms slit duct with oil-collecting element for passage of oil products and has bottomless dish closed over perimeter which houses branch pipe of exhaust pump and pickups of control over pump. Oil-collecting element is manufactured as body of cylindrical shape turning about axis and partially dipped into water. With rotation it pulls film of oil product from water surface on one side of its axis. In this case surface of oil-collecting element contacts film of oil product only till it lasts.
