FIELD: oil skimmers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for collecting oil products from surface of water and it can be used in settlers-accumulators at cleaning rain, storm and sewage waters of industrial plants and for gathering oil products from natural water areas. Proposed device contains floating housing in form vessel accommodating pickup, cylindrical oil product collecting drum with elastic blades with drive and horizontal axle of rotation adjoining side wall of housing from side of oil product collection to form, together with side wall, a channel with telescopic insert. Pickup is made in form of sealed container installed for movement along guides and is provided with branch pipe with outer thread on cone-like bottom. Additional branch pipe with inner thread is installed in bottom of vessel coaxially with pickup branch pipe. Bottom of vessel is tilted to side of its branch pipe connecting inner volume of vessel with outer volume.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics, reliability in operation and enlarged range of application owing to possibility of usage on small local objects of contamination.
