FIELD: gas and oil production. SUBSTANCE: gear for separation of sad and gas from crude oil in well has branch pipe with radial holes and bottom, lifting pipe for pump put into branch pipe to form ring space. Coupling is located in upper part of branch pipe. It has ducts to communicate ring space with outer medium. Branch pipe is rigidly connected to lifting pipe with the aid of coupling. Branch pipe has length providing for oil pressure differential of 1.0-2.5 MPa. Ducts are shut with valves. Radial holes of branch pipe are made at distances 1/10 - 1/12 of length of branch pipe from coupling. Lifting pipe is installed with its lower end at distance 1/7 - 1/15 of length of branch pipe from its bottom. EFFECT: improved separation of sand and gas thanks to simplification of design and enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
