FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear pump has housing with end plate; cylindrical bores of housing receive drive and driven gears with trunnions mounted in bores of sliding bearings. Pump housing has gas exhaust holes provided in surfaces engageable with faces of gears, suction and discharge chambers and gas exhaust pipes. Body of drive gear has blind hole and body of driven gear has through axial hole; trunnions of gears have slots. Gas exhaust holes are connected by means of passages with bores in sliding bearings; bores are connected by means of axial passages with surfaces engageable with faces of gears; axes of passages are tangential to inner radial surface of bores in sliding bearings and gas exhaust pipes are located in end plate coaxially to geometric axes of rotation of gears. Bores of sliding bearings may have intermediate grooves whose longitudinal axes are located at angle to geometric axes of rotation of gears and additional circular grooves; gas exhaust holes may be connected with intermediate grooves or with additional circular grooves by means of passages.
