FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gearbox has driving and driven shafts with gear clusters and cluster shifter mechanism. Fitted on driven shaft is internal gear. Driving shaft engages with gear cluster made in form of hemisphere with articulated clutch whose center corresponds to center of cluster which has cantilever axle on opposite end. Bearing housing moves when cluster is shifted in special slot made in gearbox case. Coast sides of teeth of second, third and others gears of cluster are relieved to bring tooth space profile in coincidence with tooth profile of driven shaft gear. Gear cluster is shifted by hydraulic jacks through thrust bearing installed between cluster and plate connected with hydraulic jacks through articulated joints.
