FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: shearer has traction member, working member kinematically connected through central shaft with gear mechanism consisting of successively installed meshed gear wheels. Extreme gear wheels are connected through shafts and overrunning clutches with two pin-wheels meshed with immovable rack installed on conveyer flight. Central shaft has driving bevel pinion and two bevel pinions with overrunning clutches. Bevel pinions are meshed with driving bevel pinions located between them. Driving bevel gear is installed on shaft of central gear wheel of gear mechanism. Traction member is made in form of two pairs of hydraulic jacks directed towards each other and two movable racks, each of which is installed parallel to fixed rack between rods of hydraulic jacks pair rigidly connected to fixed rack ends, and connected with shaft of one of pin-wheels by means of additional gears with overrunning clutch. Additional bevel pinions are interconnected by parasite bevel pinion connected with one of additional bevel gears and meshed with movable rack. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
