FIELD: sub-zero temperature stabilization. SUBSTANCE: cryostat has casing with cover, single-walled working shell made of heat-insulating material and separated by transverse electric insulating spacer into top and bottom parts. Bottom part is vessel for cryogenic fluid. Heater and temperature sensor are embedded in specimen holder arranged on electric insulating spacer and provided with heat conductors for communication with cryogenic fluid. Heat conductors have variable sectional areas. Cryostat makes it possible to vary temperature at heating rates of 0.01 to 5.00 K/s within temperature range of 77 to 673 K. Temperature range depends on material of electric insulating spacer and type of temperature sensor. Cryostat provides for high regulated rates of specimen temperature variation due to good contact with heating element and gradually varying thermal communication with coolant. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
