FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method relates to measurement of volume of spaces of intricate configurations. Blasting of preassigned amount of explosive with negative oxygen balance is conducted in measured space. Desired volume is found by concentrations of nitrogen oxide, nitrogen and oxygen in space immediately after blasting introducing correction with allowance for relation of concentrations of nitrogen and oxygen in space before blasting. EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of method.
