FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: tested specimen is excited by monochromatic laser radiation and low frequency spectra of Raman scattering is detected when exciting radiation is attenuated after it passed specimen by means of absorbing medium. As absorbing medium the matter is used which has to be active medium of exciting laser. Energy level in this medium is activity populated. This level is lower working level of laser, and it corresponds to medium excited condition. EFFECT: enhanced precision of measurement. 3 dwg
