FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: aqueous solution of pyromecaine is treated with mixture of 0,5 M copper (11) sulfate solution and 1 M sodium salicylate solution taken at the volume ratio (0,7-1,8): (1,0-2,2). Obtained colored compound is extracted with chloroform and measured by photometry at 750 750± 5 nm 5 nm. Pyromecaine content is calculated by calibrating plot.
